Litigation Support Services
As part of our air quality consulting services, McVehil-Monnett Associates, Inc. (MMA) provides technical services, consultation, and expert witness services to law firms in support of litigation and regulatory compliance proceedings. Technical areas of expertise include air quality modeling and permitting, regulatory compliance, forensic meteorology, and industrial impacts. MMA senior staff credentials include advanced degrees, professional certification (Certified Consulting Meteorologists), and broad experience in air quality/meteorological matters. Senior staff at MMA have extensive experience, for both plaintiffs and defendants, on legal cases as well as in numerous regulatory proceedings.
MMA supports clients and their legal counsel
in review of permit and compliance history, acquisition of
background and supporting data, and interpretation of technical issues and
documentation. We assist in
analysis of meteorological and/or dispersion characteristics, and provide model
analyses where appropriate to define short-term or historical
pollutant impacts. MMA Principals are experienced in
testimony and deposition, and are prepared to support all analyses
in legal proceedings when necessary.
